How To Get Rich Blogging Step Ten

Hello, and welcome back to the series on How To Get Rich Blogging! In the last post, we built your blog and wasn't that so exciting? Hopefully, you considered all of the strategies that we talked about during our time together. Today, we're going to focus on developing your action strategy. When you have a (step-by-step) daily operating system, it makes progress so much easier.

<h1>It's kind of crazy to think that so much energy and effort goes into planning a profitable blog. Nothing really just happens, but it's all strategic and intentional. Progress is no different. Therefore, I must forewarn you on how easy it is to build your blog then forget all about it.<h1>

This happens anytime you attempt to make a major change in your life. The reality is your mind may be stuck in the "9-5 work for the man" mentality which can make you question if working for yourself is worth it. I want to encourage you to work for yourself even if you have to do it on the side.

Jim Rhon said, "it's a powerful thing to work full time on your job and part-time on your fortune because it will not be long before you'll be able to work fulltime on fortune and part-time on your job. Eventually, you'll be able to rely full-time on your fortune because it has replaced your job."

<h2>So it's a process. That's why the first part of your action strategy is commitment! If you want to get rich blogging, you've got to commit to working on this thing every single day whether you feel like it or not. You don't have to put in 10 hours every day. Some days you can just plan out some post or share something you've already written on social media again. You need to commit to engaging with your blog until it becomes something real, tangible, and important to you.<h2>

Step 1 is Commit To Your Blog!

The second thing you should do is put real daily action steps into place. The reality is that it's easy to get overwhelmed and stuffed with too much information. You could find yourself always learning but never implementing.  It's a real problem and a real condition that many bloggers face. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to implement and that's why you have to set systems in place to ensure that you get things done.

If you want to set systems in place you've got to plan. Only you know your schedule and how much time you can devote to your blog. Write down on a piece of paper: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.   Besides each day, write down how much time you can devote to your blog. Once you've written down how much time you can devote to your blog, write down the activity that you plan to do during that time. For instance:

  • Monday: (2 hours) I will outline my blog topics for the week and create images for them
  • Tuesday: (5 hours) I will pre-write my 3-5 post for the week and set them up on auto-release timers.
  • Wednesday: (2 hours) I will engage in social media communities, answer and ask questions, and leave my link in the signature.
  • Thursday: ( 4 hours) I will write short social media post and link related articles from my blog
  • Friday: (3 hours) I will work on my email marketing campaign and focus on building my list
  • Saturday: ( 4 hours) I will spend the day in niche related training and write down possible blog post ideas
  • Sunday: (2 hours) I will re-share all of my posts from the week to my social media platforms and create a solo ad campaign
Once you have a rough draft of your schedule, then you can plan it out in your digital calendar. Here are 17 Best Time Management Tools that you can use. You can even use a simple tool like Plan too. Just be sure to actually block out the time in which you are going to do the activity outlined in your rough draft, and keep your appointment with your blog.  Also, you can download the Blog + Biz Planner to plan your overall blog profits strategy.
