How To Get Rich Blogging Step Five




Hello, and welcome back to How To Get Rich Blogging! I'm truly excited that you're here, and we are making great strides too.  We've covered clarity, targeting, profits planning, and email marketing. At this point, we'll discuss core product marketing.

It's no secret that if you want to get rich blogging, you're going to have to sell something. Your lead magnet is what gets people in the door of your sales funnel, but it "aint" gonna make you rich. You'd have to sell thousands upon thousands of your low cost offers to make any decent money.

The same goes for affiliate marketing on small commissions items like the Amazon Associates program. I highly recommend it for some extra cash, but it's not going to help you change your lifestyle that much.

Core product marketing is what creates massive lifestyle changes. This is how you can go from working a 9-5 to being a complete work from home agent. Core products cost more but require fewer sales to make a substantial amount of earnings, and every blogging should have at least one of them.

You should start thinking beyond your lead magnet products which range from $0-$47 into core products which are $47-$997 or more. A core product offers the lead or customer more information about the subject at hand. Let's say your lead magnet is an intro video to your niche topic, the core product might be the full course to the subject.

Those are the products that I offer my customers who have taken the plunge from lead to customer, but still, want to learn more about the topic at hand. I focus on providing them with so much value that they begin to see my services as the ultimate solution to their problems.

There are several ways that you can promote your core products and create lifestyle-changing income so you can get rich blogging, whatever that means to you.


  1. Create an immediate upsell through your lead magnet. What you would do is offer a core product upsell in the place of your thank you page when creating your lead magnet. Instead of your lead magnet triggering a thank you page, it will trigger your core product upsell. At this point, you could offer your core product at a discount. You could even provide some other benefit to the subscriber to help them grab the core product now rather than later. JOIN THE COMMUNITY HERE  to see an example of how to do it. 
  2. You could and should offer core products through your email marketing campaigns. After you've thanked the subscriber for joining your email list, you would start building a relationship with them. This is when you'd want to go hard with the value and help them start working towards a solution to their problem. You'd then began offering them your core product which is an ultimate solution to their issue.  You could have one or many core products related to the topic, but offer them core products in stages of progress so that they see the benefit of upgrading their services. Your core products could be something you've created yourself or high commission offers that pay you a good amount per sale. 
  3. You could promote your core product in groups that you've built around the subject at hand. Initially, you'd want to build a free group around your niche topic anyway. That's an important part of building a list. The more you engage with your leads the better chance you have of landing a core product sale. 


Your core product sales and/or commissions are how you will actually make money. That's why each step of this series, How To Get Rich Blogging builds upon another. You want to think about what your core products are and how they will help your audience reach their goals.

Your blog and the route you take your audience on it "is the bridge" that they will use to get from where they are to where they want to be.


HOW YOU BUILD A BRIDGE OF SOLUTIONS THROUGH YOUR BLOG

  • The customer is on the web searching for solutions to a specific problem
  • The search engine provides your blog as a possible answer
  • The customer scans the blog or post provided by the search engine to see if it's what they need
  • They aren't quite sure, but they sign up for your lead magnet to learn more about your services
  • Through the lead magnet, they discover that you have some answers that they need
  • They engage with your content more and finally decide to purchase your core product as the ultimate answer to their initial problem
This is how a profitable blog should work. That's why it's super important that you think this process through and understand what you want, who your audience is, what they want, what your profit plan is, and how you're going to weave it into your blog and build a list around it for a consistent exchange of value.
